ATOMAT GROUP incorporates six companies to fulfill the demanding requests of this wide market.

Leader company of the group is ATOMAT S.p.A. which was established in 1968. ATOMAT S.p.A. presently covers the technical and commercial service for the whole group. In ATOMAT S.p.A. the advanced CNC machines are fully designed and manufactured. ATOMAT's R&D dpt provides also the continuous improvement of these machines and their software by working in strict contact with customers and end users.

The experience in the design and manufacture of the rolls has grown during the years together with the penetration in the world-wide market. Presently Atomat technical department, equipped with 8 Solid Works stations is able to provide full assistance to customers for design of new roll equipment or optimisation of existing equipment for all the possible tube and heating element mills.

Design and technical assistance can be also provided in rolls for wire mesh, wire rod, Copper and Aluminium mills.

Multicarb Srl, one of the company of the group, equipped with the most advanced HIP sintering furnace, is presently the only supplier of Carbides for the Atomat’s rolls. Carbides produced only by virgin powders are then fully controlled and certified to provide a consistent high quality product.

CNC machines are also completely designed and manufactured in the group. The first NC grinding machine for reconditioning of Tungsten Carbide rolls for high speed finishing blocks was designed and produced in 1976.

Since that several generations of machines have been developed up to the new state of the art CNC grinding and notching machines that are operating all around the world. (see reference list)
